This exciting weekend will begin with a bus trip to Orlando where we will visit the Harry P. Leu Gardens. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a boxed lunch (included) before our private, docent-led tour of the botanical gardens and historic Leu House Museum. After our visit, we will travel one hour north to historic Downtown Deland where we have a block or rooms reserved at the Courtyard by Marriott. Once checked in, you will have the remainder of the evening to explore the downtown area and have dinner at one of the many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. 

Saturday morning, you will have breakfast on your own before boarding the bus to the Stetson Mansion for our private Holiday Home tour. The mansion had one of the first Christmas trees ever illuminated with electric lights thanks to Mr. Stetson's friend, Thomas Edison. The final stop of the tour will be a visit to the original schoolhouse which has been converted into a guest cottage/gift shop. 

The final stop of our fun-filled weekend will take us to Winter Park. When we arrive, you will have lunch on your own at one of the many restaurants on Park Avenue. We will meet back at the Morse Museum for our private tour. You will have time on your own to explore sections of the museum not included in the guided tour as well as the gift shop. 

The tour is limited to the first 40 participants. The deadline to reserve your space is November 15. The cost of this tour is $225 for Edison Ford members and $250 for non-members. Additional costs not included are dinner Friday night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Also not included is the cost for the one-night hotel stay (the group rate is $220 plus tax).
