If you’re looking for a great neighborhood pub to hang out with friends and unwind after a long work week, Lansdowne Street is just the location. Aaron Schimmel, General Manager of Lansdowne Street, explains that his restaurant is a “place you can put your cell phone away, have a great conversation with someone you know or don't, and you don't feel like you're being rushed out to turn a table when you're done.”

Located at 24851 S Tamiami Trail in Bonita Springs, Lansdowne Street has been welcoming guests since December 2007, capturing the atmosphere of a Boston/New England pub. You’ll find lots of antiques, brick, dark stained wood, and leather intertwined in the décor. You’ll also find appetizers like Ballpark Nachos, Mini Lobster Roll, and New England Clam Chowder along with “Wicked Huge Salads” that give a nod to the Northeastern culture and cuisine.

The signature sandwiches include The Mass Pike, The Monstah, The Revolution, and more. Paninis are named after famous Boston-area streets from Ipswich Street to Harvard Avenue. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported hundreds of miles away as you dine and drink at Lansdowne Street. Schimmel also encourages guests to always try the specials because they enjoy experimenting with dishes and getting customer feedback.

With great food options and craft beer selections, the pub has become a local favorite over the years. Guests will appreciate two returning specials: the $8.99 1/2 lb burger on Mondays and the $9.99 Smoked Wing Basket (10 jumbo wings) on Wednesdays. Schimmel also mentions the fun activities and events held throughout the week from Trivia every Tuesday at 7:30pm to Live Music Wednesdays through Saturdays to Happy Hour every day from 11am to 7pm.

The annual St Paddy's Day Block Party is super fun and one of the most memorable times of the year. Schimmel says this is one of his favorite events, and his team works hard to make the St Paddy’s Day Block Party enjoyable for the community. Lansdowne Street also hosts an annual “Fill The Truck" school supply drive for a local elementary school the last week of August or the first week of September. Details will be coming soon so make sure to follow the restaurant’s Facebook page.

The next time you’re looking for an entertaining evening or wanting to relax, check out Lansdowne Street. Sit out on the huge covered patio with misters and fans or pull up a chair at the bar. The team is ready to serve you!
