Hot Works - Fine Art & Fine Craft Shows in Southwest Florida

Mar 17, 2022 11:19AM ● By Jessica Wagner
Hot Works Fine Art is a high-quality fine art and fine craft show where all of the art is handmade and original by the artist in the show.

All shows have something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a high-end, expensive piece to add to your collection or something in the lower price ranges, each artist crafts their pieces with everyone in mind.

Hot Works is a juried art show. According to Patty Narozny, who has over 35 years of experience in the industry, a juried art show is one in which "Each artist must submit three images of his/her most compelling work and one of his/her booth. Each artist is juried with criteria based on execution/technique, originality, and booth appearance."
Not only does Hot Works incorporate artists' original pieces, but they also integrate kid's art programs within their shows, as well. "As part of our commitment to bring art education into the community, a Budding Artist Competition is integrated within Hot Works fine art and fine craft shows. In the upcoming show in Naples on March 26 & 27, we encourage all students in grades K-8 or ages 9-19 to enter his/her original and personally handmade art that is publicly displayed within the show. On Sunday at 3 pm, there is $250 in youth art awards as students are exposed to the rules and entrepreneurship opportunity of doing art shows for a living," states Patty. "The associated 501c3 non-profit organization, Institute for the Arts & Education, focuses on visual arts, cultural diversity, community enrichment, and fostering art education among youth."
