Kids Rule! Fun for Those Who Like to Push It to the Limit

Jan 27, 2022 02:37PM ● By ANN MARIE O’PHELAN

For some kids, fun stuff includes a swing, a slide, and a kiddy pool. For others, who are older or more adventurous, fun consists of extremes like ziplining, rock-wall climbing, and jet skiing. In Southwest Florida, they can find all levels of fun.

The beach is the focus of activities on Fort Myers Beach. “Our activities are great for adventure-seeking families,” says Sharon Faircloth, owner of the family-owned and -operated Holiday Water Sports. Activities range from jet skis to dolphin tours, paddleboards, kayaking, parasailing, and sailing. The beach purveyor also provides umbrellas, beach chairs, and cabanas. Its professional staff offers instructions on each activity to ensure customer’s experience is safe and fun. Options for beginner and advanced water-sports tours are available.

“A group favorite is the private dolphin tour excursion, as it is the perfect way to relax on the water without the crowds,” adds Faircloth. Each group gets to choose the route and pick stopping points along the way.
