Integrative Rehab Medicine, located at 9250 Corkscrew Road in Estero, is a physical medicine and rehabilitation practice that aims to heal the body, rather than just treat an illness or injury.

The practice combines Regenerative Medicine, which focuses on regrowing, replacing, or repairing damaged cells, with rehabilitation, nutrition-focused plans, and integrative medicine.

Doctors Sebastian Klisiewicz and his wife, Eunika Klisiewicz, founded Integrative Rehab Medicine on the basis that they wanted their patients to heal from the inside, while also helping them achieve a higher quality of life.

Dr. Sebastian graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He went on to work as an Assistant Professor for Loyola University Medical Center, until he and his family moved to Southwest Florida and opened Integrative Rehab Medicine with his wife in 2019.

Treatments at Integrative Rehab Medicine include non-surgical options for the spine, shoulders, hips, knees, and other joints. Dr. Sebastian also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neuropathies, hypermobility syndromes, and musculoskeletal injuries. He and his team of physical therapists, midlevel providers, dieticians, and nurses also treat nerve disorders, arthritis, sciatica, rotator cuff injuries, and more.

Dr. Sebastian and Dr. Eunika focus on the whole body. They don’t just treat pain, they help people to regain their entire function, which is why their team includes dieticians, acupuncturists, and physical therapists.

When asked what Dr. Sebastian’s favorite aspect of his practice is, he stated, “I love the fact that we can offer an alternative to pain medications and surgery, with Regenerative Medicine and our comprehensive team approach. We are able to help patients heal and achieve long-term results, not just pain management. Our team works together all under one roof towards the same goal of helping patients heal and improve their quality of life. As an integrative clinic, we are able to offer many options to treat patients’ issues. If we find that therapy and regenerative injections are not adequate, we can offer laser therapy, acupuncture, functional medicine, and many other options to choose from.”

Dr. Sebastian explains, “We often have patients come in and tell us we are their last hope, or that they have tried everything thus far without lasting results. It is always exciting when these patients complete our program and regain control of their function and quality of life. Recently, our patient with severe nerve damage from Guillain-Barre Syndrome received regenerative treatments along with therapy and acupuncture, and on a testimonial video, she told us that this was the first time in two and a half years that she is able to walk without fear and dance with her husband.”

Bringing a whole-body approach to healing, rather than just treating pain is the focus of Doctor Sebastian and Doctor Eunika Klisiewicz.
