Collectors Consortium, 25091 Bernwood Dr, Unit 7, Bonita Springs, is an antiques boutique for folks looking to find just the right piece or even a hard-to-replace object from long ago. Back in 2020, Bonita & Estero Magazine reported 15 different vendors sell their wares here, all under one roof.

“We have everything from oriental rugs to bric-a-brac, to jewelry to pirate-themed to artwork from local artists,” store manager Marilyn Anderson said.

Additionally, those looking to sell an antique or collectible can make a deal at the shop, which opened its doors in Bonita Springs in September 2019, just months before the global pandemic struck. The grand opening welcomed Lee Family Antiques and Ithaca Antiques, as well as some individual vendors to start. They even featured a 1940's Coke vending machine that was featured on the hit television series Pawn Stars.

When the pandemic struck in March 2020, Collectors Consortium decided to remain open for a short period, prior to the local mandate for businesses to temporarily close.

"
Collectors Consortium wishes everyone safety and health during this trying period," it posted on its Facebook page. "Our shop remains open for those experiencing cabin fever. We have taken every precaution to ensure the cleanest and healthiest environment for our customers. In addition to constant contact area surface sanitizing, we are saturating our shop in the overnight hours with a commercial Ozone Generator which helps kill viruses and germs on all surfaces within our store. Please stay safe and healthy! God Bless us All!"

The shop ended up re-opening on May 5, 2020, and resumed renting out booths and cabinets to local vendors. By the holiday season, the business has grown to be able to open its doors on Sundays, which it hadn't been doing previously.

In April, Collectors Consortium announced it would expand its space to the unit next door to its current location in Signal Center, which would allow for more cabinet space and bigger booths.

"We Proudly Announce our Expansion is Official!!!" the Facebook announcement said. "We’re are growing into the space next door with bigger booths and more cabinet space COMING SOON!!! Thank You to all our customers that made our First (and very challenging) Year a great success!!!"

"We love your antique store," a follower commented on the post. "Always have such an assortment of items that seems to change on a regular basis. Makes it a great place to find countless treasures. Love that you're expanding and we're excited about more potential purchases."

As of June 19, the floors of the new space had been polished and the business updated its fans that it was coming down the home stretch on finishing its new space. More news to come on when that space would officially open.
