NCH Healthcare Bonita, located at 24040 South Tamiami Trail, has been serving the Bonita Springs and southern Lee County community since 2018. 

The two-story, 41,000 square-foot outpatient facility is set on a 4-acre parcel. The first floor is home to the NCH Freestanding Emergency Department (ED) - a 12-bed, full-service emergency room. Open 24 hours a day, seven days per week, the freestanding emergency department at NCH Healthcare Bonita offers many of the same comprehensive, life-saving services offered in the emergency room within the hospital. 

Because freestanding emergency departments are often a smaller version of a hospital-based ER, patients oftentimes discover they can get in to see a physician to treat their emergency much quicker. And just like a typical emergency room at our hospitals, the ED at NCH Healthcare Bonita is staffed around the clock with a full complement of physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel trained in emergency medicine.  

Next door to the ED, patients will discover NCH Imaging - a comprehensive outpatient imaging center offering MRI, CT, 3-D mammography, ultrasound, and digital x-ray imaging.

The second floor of the facility, which opened in 2019, houses NCH Physician Group primary care and specialty care physician offices, advanced surgical suites, as well as orthopedic and endoscopy services. Surgeries performed at the surgical center include general surgery, orthopedic surgery, gastroenterology, and urology. 

The NCH Physician Group offers complete care to infants, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Services include physicals, acute and follow-up visits, chronic disease management, vaccinations, preventative screenings, yearly well woman exams, school and sports physicals, blood draws along with lab testing, and EKGs.  NCH Gastroenterology Services at NCH Healthcare Bonita provides consultative services as well as the newest technology in Hydrogen Breath testing, Capsule Endoscopy, and Hemorrhoidal Banding.
