Regardless of where you may have heard about them, it can be tough to remember them all. Bonita Springs' best activities and places are both well known and off the beaten path. Here are just some of the activities you can explore in 2018 and beyond in your hometown (or on your vacation if you're just visiting).
The Arts
The Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs, according to its Facebook page, is committed to enrich the
culture of our diverse community by providing opportunities for artistic
expression, education and appreciation in a supportive and nurturing

Fairs & Festivals
The Bonita Springs Riverside Park, according to its website, is located on old US 41 Road in Olde
Bonita and sits on the Imperial River. The park is used for holiday
celebrations, art shows, festivals, Movies in the Park, and the
Celebrate Bonita Festival. Also in the park is our band shell. Our
amenites include sheltered picnic tables, park benches, and restrooms.On
the grounds is the historic Lile’s Hotel and the historical Imperial
River cottages that have been restored as part of a downtown
redevelopment.

The Beach
According to its website, this beautiful beach front park, known as Bonita Beach Park, is on
the southern tip of Bonita Beach. It offers a variety of amenities. You
will find restrooms, shelters with tables and grills, a playground and a
sand volleyball court. Parking is available for $2 per hour. Bon Fires are not permitted per the Bonita Springs Fire Department. Amenities include Gulf beach, toilets, picnic tables, pavilion, playground, grill areas, food concessions, sand volleyball. A Saltwater Fishing License is required to saltwater fish from shore. There is no fee for Florida residents. The beach is located at 27954 Hickory Blvd.
Something Sporty
According to its website, the Bonita Springs Disc Golf Course provides fun for the whole family! "Great athletic competition. And exciting outdoor sport. A great aerobic workout"
To play Disc Golf, all you need to know is how to throw a frisbee. Same rules as traditional Golf. The scenic 18-hole course that wraps around a 7 acre lake provides amateur tee pads for the beginner and pro pads for the more advanced player. There is no charge to play.
Shop
Known as Southwest Florida's best flea market, with bargains for the whole family, the Flamingo Island Flea Market has 600 spaces, selling all sorts of goods to the general public. Prices are generally at liquidation level. There are six restaurants on site, and fresh, Florida seafood and produce are also sold throughout.
