Kombucha, Beneficial Bacteria & Pickles
Join us to learn how to preserve local veggies that you can enjoy throughout the year. Leading this class, Megan will also present how to brew your own Kombucha + send you home with your own starter SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria & yeast) to make future batches of this ancient fermented elixir in your own kitchen. The class will end on a sweet note featuring raw cacao, which is one of nature’s most beloved fermented foods. This unique culinary adventure will invite guests into the discussion of how beneficial bacteria can be incorporated into their own lives. Wines will be available for purchase.
