Looking for a new place to dine? Luckily there are plenty of tasty places in the Bonita Springs and Estero area.

We put together a few places to consider dining in the local area. If you want to explore the fine dining scene, or find the perfect seafood place, we've got it covered.

We aimed for local small businesses and hope that you just might find your next favorite spot.

Bistros & Fine Dining

If you're looking to step up your dining game a notch, there are plenty of high-end places in the local area to consider. These places are perfect for that special date or event.

Other Side Bistro

Short Rib & Potato Gnocchi

(24630 S Tamiami Trl Ste B, Bonita Springs, FL 34134)

The Other Side Bistro is an American-style restaurant run by
Chef Brian McCarley and Barbara McCarley. Their menus change with the season, so be sure to always check in to see what they're serving. Currently they are touting their summer menu, with staples such as Fried Green Tomatoes and the Baked Five Onion.

Try out their Blackened Mahi the next time you find yourself in need of a culinary treat.

Angelina's Ristorante

(24041 S Tamiami Trl, Bonita Springs, FL 34134)

Not too far from where The Other Side is located, Angelina's is all about not just food but wine, too. You can find a 30-foot wine tower at Angelina's to appreciate while you are enjoying their tasty Italian dishes. Angelina's is open for dinner-only and are dedicated to making it a memorable experience.

Experience their Prix Fixe Menu, where you will receive a 3-course meal and a dessert for two.

Seafood

In an area like Bonita Springs, how could we not include seafood? There are so many tasty places to choose from, but we chose a few spots that we consider to particularly delicious.

A Table Apart

(4295 Bonita Beach Road, Bonita Springs, FL 34134)

At A Table Apart, their main focus is all about supporting sustainable fishing. They make it a point to only include seafood that isn't considered over-fished and doesn't have high mercury levels. This means that their menu is ever-changing, which can be incredibly exciting for diners.

Because their menu is constantly evolving and changing, it's difficult to include a recommendation. However, they also offer a Prix Fix Menu that include their latest choices.

Coconut Jack's

(5370 Bonita Beach Rd, Bonita Springs, FL 34134)

Coconut Jack's Waterfront Grille was recently voted Bonita's Best Waterfront Restaurant and is just strides away from Bonita Beach overlooking the Back Bay. Enjoy a refreshing cocktail while you take in the scene. Also all about sustainability, specialties include the Chef's Daily Features with a Florida, tropical flair.

You can arrive by boat or car and try their Seared Ahi Tuna for a great time on the water.

Flipper's

(8771 Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931)

Located waterfront in Estero Bay, Flipper's has been named one of the best waterfront restaurants in the area. It is also one of the few restaurants that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. Despite its location within the Lovers Key Resort, the environment is as casual as any beach establishment might feel. Sip on a cocktail and enjoy their Caribbean-inspired dishes.

Enjoy their Black Cold Water Mussels with a tasty cocktail.

Classic Eats

Sometimes, all we want are classic staples for a meal. We found a few places that fit the bill, though some are in more unique locations that others. Whether you want that classic breakfast, pub or cafe, we covered it!

Dolly's

(9930 Bonita Beach Rd SE, Bonita Springs, FL 34135)

Enjoy breakfast and lunch at Dolly's, located within their Produce Patch. When you're finished with your tasty meal, grab a pie to bring home. Dolly's has been described as "homey" and "accommodating" by reviewers, and their breakfast plates are at the top of the list when it comes to their menu.

If you are looking for a great pis to bring home, the Triple Berry Pie comes highly recommended.

Landsdowne Street Pub

(24851 S. Tamiami Trail, inside the Bernwood Design Centre)

Landowne Street Pub is all about good beer, good food, and good times. Oh, and the Boston Red Sox so make sure you don't stroll in with your New York Yankees gear on! Every second Saturday of the month they also host a block party, where people can celebrate all day long. The atmosphere mimics that of a small town pub, and their food also reflects that. Think Lobster Rolls and Clam Chowder, followed by a game of darts.

Watch a Red Sox game here while enjoying a gourmet sandwich and a craft brew.

Survey Café

(10530 Wilson St, Bonita Springs, FL 34135)

Take a break at the Survey Cafe and step back in time to when the City of Bonita Springs was known as Survey. Experience good old-fashion southern hospitality in this historic home turned Cafe where local art and antique tools adorn the walls. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner here with some great outdoor seating.

Stop by for breakfast and try out one of their tasty Breakfast Biscuits
